SEVEN STARS OF YOUTH
Youth walk in the newness of life. · Youth should let the newness of life be evident in their lives. · Everything in a Youth's life must become new. · The way a Youth perceives things, situation becomes new too. He/She doesn't become judgmental everywhere. The spirit of discernment is now working in him/her. STAR
#2: FRESHNESS (James
3v12) · Youth ought to show forth the fruits of freshness. · Something called "Fresh" is not a thing that is stale, rotten or boring, but something lovable, interesting and cheerful character. · Don't be a bothersome somebody and a boring person STAR
#3: STRENGTH & POWER (Proverbs20v29)
· .....the beauty of a young person is his strength. STAR
#4: FULLNESS (John
1v16) · Youth as a saved person receives the fullness of the Lord Jesus Christ. · Fullness can also be seen in so many ways ;) full of life, ii) healthy, iii) brains full of knowledge and is supposed to be demonstrated by passing exams at school etc. · Fullness makes a young person become responsible. · Fullness and Strength is the ability or character of "No shortage of Power" STAR
#5: SPEED (Isaiah
41v28-31) · Youth are like eagles which are fast, strong and wait upon the Lord. · Be energetic fast and efficient and a zealous of good works too. STAR #6: UNDIVIDED
ATTENTION (Proverbs
1v9, 10; 4v25; I Corinthians 7v11) · A youth has undivided attention and pays 100% to God's activities be they in church or out of church. · Undivided attention gives vision -people without vision perish · Makes one concentrate without disturbances · A youth becomes focused on the Lord Jesus Christ. STAR #7: PRIDE
OF LIFE (Romans
8v6, 8, 10) · A youth has pride in his/her undefiled and unspoiled youth life. · A youth with this character doesn't go along with things he/she feels will defile or corrupt him and his/her manners. · Youth must be Spiritually Minded (leading to life) and not Externally Minded CONCLUSION THERE ARE 2 MAJOR JEWELS TO BE FOUND IN YOUTH (i) THE SPIRIT OF LIFE (IN GOD) AND (ii) (ii) THE IN-DWELLING OF CHRIST IN A YOUTH. |
