Preparation for Camp Meeting 2006

It brings great pleasure to tell or even describe the happenings and the atmosphere that was experienced by all, individuals who participated in this wonderful historic experience that will live on for generations to come as long as the lord will tarry. It was very touching to see different saints from various places active in God's work of hands at the Camp Ground in preparation for a great camp meeting of it's kind to be held there for the first time.

Saints from various branches in Gauteng came together for every weekend to work at the camp ground three months prior to the commencing of the camp meeting.
Not forgetting our Brethren from Northern Province and North West Province who traveled all the way and spent a week working at the camp ground.


We had different groups who executed various tasks such as the builders who managed to build a stage for the choir and ministers's platform, guest house for accomodationn in regards to sleeping arrangements for delegates who were coming to attend the camp meeting. Some worked on cleaning the guest houses that were exesting particularly the sister's including the female youth, others organized beautiful flower for decorations of the yard and finally most the young men, a week prior to the camp meeting assembled the tent that we worshiped in during the camp meeting,this was an interesting, exciting and tiring task for them.

This experience signified unity and oneness of the church, it also created exciting build up to the camp meeting and much expectation from saints anticipation great spirit of revival and to see the Lord doing wonders and have a feel of God's presence in this great special camp meeting which was to be hosted at the camp ground and Headquarters for the first time and this created memories which will not be forgotten for many years to come.
