Steps to Deliverance

The problem is not " what " you are missing.The problem is " who " you are missing.God is the one who created you,and He can fill-a God sized spot just waiting for Him .God is not a philosophy.He is not a concept.He is the creator of the universe, and He loves you very much! He knows the moment of your birth,every part of your personality, each event of your lifetime up to this instant and what lies in your future.

His Book, the Bible, says that He even knows the number of hairs on your head and the thoughts and motives of your heart. The emptiness in your heart, that feeling pf something missing, is there because you are seperated from God. That seperation is caused by sin -- the "something wrong" that is at the root of all selfishness, wrong actions, and bad feelings.

Here's how it happened.In the beginning of time,God created the first man and woman on earth, Adam and Eve. They enjoyed perfect fellowship with God.They walked and talked with him,living pure and joyful lives in a beautiful garden that supplied all to their needs. God's only rule for Adam and Eve was that they were not to eat fruit of a certain tree,the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. That rule was made out of love for them cause up to that point Adam and Even new only good.

However God created them with the ability to choose whether or not to obey, and they chose to disobey. They ate the fruit from the forbidden tree and, as a result, sin entered into their hearts. Because God can have nothing to do with sin, their sin seperated them from Him.

God loves us so much that he made a way to bridge the gap f seperation caused by sin. He sent His Son, Jesus, to this world to lve as a human being and pay the penalty for our sins.The penalt y of sin is death. Because was sinless,He could pay for the sins of others , so He died on the cross in our place.Then after three days, Jesus arose from the dead and walked on earth once more! The amazing fact was documented by hundreds of people who sow Jesus after His Resurrection.Now He lives in Heaven with God!

How can you approach God and receive His pardon? In the Bible, God has laid out steps for you to follow .When you take each step honestly and sincerely, He will assure you that you have received His pardon. That experience is called salvation.
