Second Week of Camp Meeting 2006
Sunday morning began with many surprises in store for all of us, where we had visit of special unexpected guests from America joining us for the service.
Rev Nolan Roby, his wife and their son. This was a very exciting moment for a lot of saints in South Africa to see Brother Roby whom they saw in pictures in the Higher way magazine, were some of his wonderful sermons are recorded,
we did not only see him and greet him but most importantly we heard him preach in our Camp Meeting for the first time and what a wonderful sermon the lord used him to preach that morning about "The Prince of Peace".The spirit of the lord was felt that morning,it's truthful to say that we had the Prince of Peace presence in our midst. We pray that the lord keeps that peace deep down in our hearts until we go to glory. Peace be unto you.

Future Plans for Bapsfontein Camp Ground
An exciting announcement was made by Brother Sam Ajayi that they were plans for the camp ground to be developed from this year, a new temple is to be erected right away for next year and relevant individuals were identified who are professionals qualified to make this dream a reality. Builders, architects, electricians, plumbers and others are ready to assume the execution of this great task, we were promised that by God's grace next year a portion of the building of the church will be standing.
A headquarters office will be erected in the near future and dome tries as well for sleeping arrangements to accommodate all attendants to the camp meeting. There are alot of exciting things which are going to be done in these camp grounds in the near future, This was just to mention a few.
Water Baptismal Service
It was very touching and exciting to see saints of God young and old being baptized in water at the camp ground for the first time. This baptismal pool was built before camp meeting and was made ready just a week before the baptismal service, many could hold tears from their eyes as they witnessed this historic event which was to remain in many saints hearts for many years to come. This brought pictures in our minds of future saints who are going to saved and be baptized in this very pool in many years to come.
Some of us could not believe that this was really taking place seeing ministers of God in the water doing the lord's work as the Lord had instructed in his word, especially to the saints who were just been saved right there at the camp meeting, this was a significant, wonderful experience for them and for all of us, in conclusion we can say that this a great Historic, Wonderful Camp meeting that we had by God's grace and mercy this year.May the name of the Lord be Praised.
The washing of the saints feet reminded us of that day when all saints will seated in mid air when the Lord Jesus Christ himself will wipe away all tears of each saint from their eyes, this was indeed the highest peak of blessings of the camp meeting. The saints young and old sang choruses what a wonderful sweet spirit of God that we felt that day, unity, love and oneness of the brethren. Thank God for camp meeting.
Evening Youth Meeting
We had a wonderful time that evening as youth when we had a fruitful meeting with Rev Ajayi, who took the pleasure of addressing us on the questions that were asked by the youth that required explaination and guidance. One of the issues that were discussed was the marriage issue, He outlined that youth were to pray when facing that matter of desiring to marry, marriage was the second most important decision of our lives and could determine whether we will make heaven or not. The first step to be taken is to pray to
God to show one his or her rightful partner and then consult the ministers to assist also with prayer, after that the Lord has revealed the person, He also emphasized that as youth we ought to keep ourselves pure at all times.
Another question asked was family planning, He said the couple were to pray to God about the number of children they wish to have and that it is important to note the financial muscle that the couple has to raise the children properly and a few alternatives could be used to execute family planning but the natural way was highly recommended. Lastly the youth wa edged to participate actively in God's work especially in learning to play instruments and join the future orchestra for the church, a new wing for the youth was
being formed and in the future there will be strong firing band of young people in South Africa.
